After yesterdays updates, Outlook has mind of it own

Outlook 2010. After installing the updates on 12/8, Outlook took on a new configuration. After I set it to a point that it once was, it reverts back to the post update. i.e. View does not have the reading panel visible, the calendar is on a right hand column, Mail, calendar, notes are expanded on the left column, choosing fewer buttons, reverts back and shows them all again after a restart.

Office 2010 KB3114409 update has been pulled for Win 10 updates for the issues you are seeing in Win 7.
If you have that update installed in Win 7, uninstall it and see how things work.

You're welcome, and i thank you both for pointing this problem out with Win 7 Outlook 2010.
I haven't updated my Win 7 OS with Outlook 2010 yet, so I'll make sure to not install KB3114409 for now.
