Change background color of Outlook inbox selected email item

    Hi

I'm color blind. The default background color of the Inbox Email that I select makes it a bit difficult to read. Can I modify this?

Do you mean Outlook, as Office is a suite not a program.

But being color blind, I doubt it would help.

Is there any particular reason you use Outlook ?

I don't believe that Microsoft would alow you to make changes as you have suggested. But, look in the control Panel under Ease Of Access Center. Hope this helps with your visual problem.

I'm not certain I understand the question...I use Outlook 2007. What other information do you require?

AddRAM! With your links, maybe you should do what I do. Highlight and color the link. That'll differentiate from the rest of the text. And use this BB Code to accomplish that affect.

    [URL
    =http://www.example.com
    ]
    Go to example.com
    [/URL]

    Put the code together.

I don`t use outlook, the links are not for me.

jaslake, I don`t use Outlook, I use my internet service providers email program, which is Verizon.

If you use Oulook then your email gets downloaded to that pc and you can`t look at it on any other PC.

With Verizon I can look at my mail on any PC anywhere in the world.

I recommend to people, never install an email program on your PC.

Use Gmail, Yahoo etc or any other free email program.

Outlook should only be used on a company owned PC where it`s mandated.

No.. If you purchased the Microsoft suite, you have the right to use Outlook as a standalone for what you will on your own system.
