    Can wordPad be reinstalled?

WordPad on my 64-bit Win7 has started to do strange things every now and then, like changing to italics on its own. It is still completely usable, but the unbidden quirks are irritating. Normally I would simply delete and reinstall s program that starts getting flaky.

So far I have found no way to do this with WordPad. It does not appear on Control Panel > Programs and Features.

    Has anyone successfully reinstalled WordPad?

Hello Dave, and welcome to Seven Forums. :)

Since WordPad is a Windows system file, you might see if running a SFC /SCANNOW command may help if the file has become corrupted.

Here is a download site. I never used it so you are on your own with it.

WordPad should be found by pressing Start, select All Programs, then Accessories & WordPad should be listed there at the bottom of the list.
