Outlook 2010 temp folder keeps getting full

When the temp folder is full, it prevents printing and usually opening of attachments. I can go into the temp folder and delete the files but that only fixes it for about a week until it fills up again.

Is there way to auto delete the files in the outlook temp folder?

    C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook\R23YBU2S

The contents are in the R23YBU2S folder

I've read that this may be something that was fixed with the service pack 1 for office 2010. I'll try and update and see if that does anything.

Are you sure you mean SP1 for Office 2010?

Reason I ask: Office 2010 has been on SP2 since July 2013 or thereabouts.

Do you have Windows Updates configured to offer important updates (especially security patches) and Service Packs for your MS Office software?
If not, it would be a good idea to get it fully updated with all critical and important patches.
Otherwise, it's a pretty significant security vulnerability.

I do but I think office was installed after everything was setup so I'm not sure if it has been updated or not, I'll have a look and see.

ok, so I've checked and there are no updates for office/outlook so I dont know why the temp files are still staying in the temp folder after outlook has been closed?

I've got that but it doesn't fix the problem, if just deletes whatever is in the folder so its a bit quicker then doing it manually.
