    Can't Activate Office

Hello. I have a completely legitimate copy of Office 2007 Ultimate, which, over the years, has been installed and re-installed a fair few times, though I haven't used it for quite a while now. Recently I thought I might as well make use of it, and tried to install it on a laptop but could not activate it as 'it has been activated too many times'. I then opted for the Telephone Activation method, but was told that this option was no longer available in my country!
Is there any way I can activate this software - which is, as I say, completely legit - or do I have to simply put it in the bin?

Is your copy of Office 2007 Ultimate a retail copy or an OEM copy. An OEM copy would probably have been supplied with a computer purchase. A retail copy would be one that you purchased separately.

If it an OEM copy then it may have been installed too many times or on too many different computers. A retail copy should install on any computer & can be installed many times without any problems, as long as it is only installed on one computer at any time.

It's a Retail copy. Not that bothered now, as the Mail app in Windows 10 is OK and I'm using Office 2016 on windows 7.
