Please tell me if Excel is part of Office on your computer. There is no Excel 2006, the versions of Excel are, starting from Excel 2003:

    Excel 2003
    Excel 2007
    Excel 2010
    Excel 2013
    Excel 2016

Click the Microsoft Office Button , click Excel Options, and then click the Formulas category. Automatic except for data tables Formulas recalculate, unless the formula is in a data table. Recalculate workbook before saving This option is available only if Workbook Calculation is set to Manual.
