Office Suite 2016 won't sign in.

Yesterday, i decided to revert from Win 10 to Win 7.
All the updates went in, OS was registered etc. and after installing Outlook 2013 and the rest of the suite of 2016, that's when the problems started.
No matter how many times i entered username and password, they would not stick.
Did software "repair", even multiple reboots didn't help.
Onenote, Word, Excel have become "staples" and i just can't figure out what gives.

Which version of Office do you want to use? Uninstall all MS Office programs, reboot, then install only the one you want to use; don't install both 2013 and 2016.

Actually, i had and still have Outlook 2013.
Acquired Word, Onenote and Excel 2016 separately (without Outlook).

If you are using the locally-installed versions of Office, then you don't need a username and password. Perhaps something other than Office is asking you for the username and password.

    I wish!
When opening Word 2016 (or Excel etc.), it prompts for Outlook account email and password.
But i've encountered issues with these two versions in the past on Win 10 so many things just get worse in Win 7.

Try creating a shortcut to the actual program, and then running the new shortcut. Here's how the shortcut would look if you were running Excel 2016 in 64-bit Windows:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\EXCEL.EXE"

For previous versions of Excel, it will be "Office14" or something else.

Also, for Word, the name of the program is "WINWORD.EXE".

Why do you need to use some programs from Office 2016 & others from Office 2013, which I think is what is causing your problems. Outlook will always default to the later version, so it's possible your Office 2016 programs are looking for Outlook 2016 & not Outlook 2013, which is causing this conflict.

Office 2013 is actually version 15.

Couldn't afford to buy entire 2016 suite i guess.

Anyway, Outlook 2013 is activated and doing fine.
Signed into Onedrive and files are all syncing.
It's just Word, Excel, Onenote and PowerPoint 2016 that are stubborn and won't register/activate with regular Outlook email address and password.

FYI: Just did Home and Business 2016 install on Friday. Word and Excel seemed to work fine, then they only worked every couple times I started them, then not at all. Repairing accomplished nothing (either local or online). A deinstall and reinstall and it's fine.

Order of installation might matter too. Did you put on 2013 first or 2016?
