How do I exit a text box in Word 2007

I inserted a rather large text box w/ 2 - 3 paragraphs. Now I cannot seem to exit and continue the record BELOW the text box. The help instructions say "When you are finished typing and want to switch back to editing text in your document, press SHIFT+F10, choose EXIT EDIT TEXT on the shortcut menu, and press ESC." That did get me out, but not below the text box. And I don't see a shortcut menu, I see a 'Spelling & Grammar' box. Help anyone?

    Hi wear08,

Have you tried temporarily re-sizing the text box on re-sizing the screen down from 100%?

    I hope this helps!

    Paul,
Yes, I did resize the page down to 80%, and was able to get the cursor outside of the text box. It was still at the top of the box, but I kept hitting enter and the cursor moved to the bottom of the box. Mission accomplished, although I still don't understand why. But thank you for responding. Yours was the only one.
