    Multiple Word Document Printing Issue

Okay, my apologies if this is a duplicate post because I tried looking on the site for information about this issue and was unable to find it. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

So we work in a Win 7 environment with Office 2013. I have a user who prints multiple Word documents, they are Appeal Letters from a Health Care Company. When she highlights say any number of them, for arguments sake, lets say 10, and I know the limit is like 14 set my Microsoft, then she right clicks them and selects print. The Office program beings to open Word then attempts to print these documents. Well the first one always fails to print with a message "Cannot complete this command, there is a dialogue box open". But it then prints the next 9 documents after you close the message out. Unfortunately, I see no dialogue box.

Is there a fix for this?

Just tried printing multiple word docs, by highlighting them, right-click and print. All documents temporarily opened in Word, then they printed.

Have you tried Word 2013 Repair?

    Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Word 2013 > Change > Repair > Continue

    Thanks for your response.

Yes, have repaired Office. Have already removed and reinstalled Office. Have rebuilt the end user's profile we thought maybe it was profile related. we even tried removing the printer and driver and mapping it back as well.

Humm...that is where I would begin troubleshooting.
    Have you tried:
Event viewer > Microsoft Office Alerts? press Windows & r, type eventvwr left column navigation pane Application and service logs > Microsoft Office Alerts are there any errors being reported?
    Uninstalled and reinstalled printer driver?
Printing through WiFi and Ethernet the same?
Scan for system file errors? sfc /scannow from Administrative CMD. Integrity violations?

What make & model printer are you using?. Have you checked the printer set up to see whether the printer setting are set correctly for print order etc..

    Good Afternoon,

Thanks guys for the info. I have yet to be able to check it all on the end user's system as I don't have access to it since she is out this week. Will let you know what I find out when she returns.
