    Microsoft Office For Windows 7

    Hi-

Trying to figure out how to download Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows 7.

I don't have a key, but am thinking of buying one from SCDKey.

The way I understand it, Microsoft 365 won't install on anything but Windows 10.

I have Windows 10 Pro ISO and the SCDKey, but am waiting to get a new SSD to

    install Windows 10 to.

Can anyone give some direction on this, please?...

    Thanks!

Office 2016 works "flawlessly" in Windows 7 (as far as you can expect from such a broken program).
At least the 365 subscription version, you login to the MS website with your account and download links will be offered for a fake web installer. That'll download and install the whole thing when ran.

At the very least, in a not-so-up-to-date Windows 7 install, it works normally.

Not making much sense from your response, but thanks, anyway.

In truth, all I need is the Excel spreadsheet app, as we've a particular
program that'll only function with the MS version. No open source
variants will do- has something to do with the macros.

I don't understand your 'At least the 365 subscription version, you login to the MS website with your account and download links will be offered for a fake web installer. That'll download and install the whole thing when ran' statement...
As shown in the attachments, subsequent to logging into my MS account, it just takes me to a 'premium'
offering and they want a monthly subscription or an an annual payment.
If I simply click on the Excel icon it takes me to that particular app in OneDrive- it appears fully functional.
Don't understand that, either... I sure as hell don't want MS knowing about anything I'm doing!... not that
it's illegal, but it IS my intellectual property.

I'm just looking for a download for MS Office whereas a key can be applied.
Furthermore, that's the first I've ever heard of Office 2016 being 'broken'...we've never had an issue with it
    in the past.

So, being that I can purchase a key from SCDKey, an org fully licensed by MS, how and where do I download OFFICE?... do I go to the torrents and procure MS Office, download it and just not use the
KMSAuto.exe hack tool, but rather apply the license key I've purchased?...

Let's get one thing straight before any assumptions are formed- I neither use, nor condone, the use of
    pirated software.

    Thanks-
    Tim W.

M$ has changed the way that they distribute office so I'm not finding a trial download. Really starting with 2016 they don't even give the user full downloads. The only give downloaders.

Download and install or reinstall Office 2016 or Office 2013 - Microsoft Office

IMO if SDCKey is a legit organization then they will be able to provide a method of downloading Office.

Right... I think with the SDCKey, or any key for that matter, you have to go to the Office site and when you go to download/install, the first thing they ask for is your key.

Here's where I learned about SDCKey, and I bought the Windows 10 key from them... haven't tried the install yet, but downloaded the October Update ISO from MS using their tool. I guess I'm waiting on getting
a new Samsung SSD to try the install... this linked article tells you everything you need to know about
SDCKey and their affiliation with MS.

I'm going to get a hold of Angelos over at PC Steps and present this query to him and see what he has to say regarding Office.
