    Microsoft Office 2016

    Hello-

I don't have Microsoft Office on my Windows 7 pc...

Where can I download a copy and get a license?...

I bought my Windows 10 Pro license [1] from a source listed on PC Steps, and am

wondering if I have to buy either the Office 2016 or 2019 key from same source.

(Scroll down page on link below)... SCDKey is an online retailer for Microsoft.

I have some programs that need the specific macros from MS Office Excel to function

correctly. The free and open source apps will not do it.

    Can anyone help?...

    Thanks!

Sorry to be one to have to tell you this but I doubt that the Microsoft products on that site are legitimate, those prices are just too good to be true and of course anyone can State " SCDKey is an online retailer for Microsoft software" there are a number of official microsoft partners who are legitimate sellers for Microsoft and they will display either "Microsoft Partner" or "Official Microsoft Reseller" logos.

The software that is sold by scam outfits will usually work for a time until Microsoft notice the illegal keys and block them - Most are actually packages built for Enterprise buyers with a fake licence server

You could try one of your local computer shops & they will probably be cheaper than buying it from MS & if they are a reputable shop will supply the Office DVD together with the activation license in a sealed pack.

OK, thanks for the info... I wound up wasting ~$11 on a Windows 10 Pro key then...

they are going to refund the money. I think MS will let me install 10 with my Windows 7 Pro

    install anyway, yet.

Back to the Office dilemma, how do I go about getting an Office 2016 key and download it,

or am I stuck with that subscripted Office 365 deal?...

    Thanks for all the input.

Correct, and their activation is usually based on the 'KMSAuto Net Activator' deal... which isn't altogether

    ethical.

    Thanks!

I have Windows 7 on my PC, and I wanted to buy an Office license.
Unfortunately there is no Office license that you can buy from Microsoft, which is currently selling just Office 2019 (for Windows 10 only, not compatible with Windows 7) and Office 365.
I found a lot re-sellers on Amazon with interesting prices for Office 2016, but I'm afraid that they bought a set of Business licenses that they resell... I'm not sure it's legal, and I'm pretty sure that for this reason Microsoft would not provide any support for those licenses.
So, I'll stay with LibreOffice until I will upgrade to Windows10...

The problem with those open source office programs is that the MS Office macros in Excel (and quite

possibly other apps in the Office suite) will NOT work with those progs. I found Office 2016 with 2019

enhancement and it's legit. It just requires some searching around. Of course, you can get 2016/2019

from MS but the pricing is beyond ridiculous.

I know that the open source programs don't provide all the features of MS Office, but it was my only possible choice. I searched for an Office 2016, but I wasn't able to find something that was 100% original without any doubt...

You are right, there is not another Office like program as good as MS Office.
