MS Outlook 2010 not connecting properly to send emails on new ISP
Hello, using MS Outlook 2010, worked perfectly until recent move and switching to a new ISP. I've been in touch with the new ISP, they say to call Microsoft. They've walked me through the steps, my final "error" notice is "Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP)."
I have switched the port numbers to what they want, the SPA is not checked, the box is checked so the Outgoing Server requires Authentication, the box is checked to use same settings as the incoming mail server, the port numbers have been changed to 995 for Incoming POP 3 with require of encrypted connection, and 587 with a TLS encryption.
I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium -- I've been using this system with no issues until I have now switched to a new internet provider (Northland Cable), and they seem to be full of issues. Any help please? Thank you.
