domain to local, outlook not working

    Hello chaps,

Have a laptop from my old company which no longer exists. I have changed the laptop from a domain to workgroup and have created a local user and changed the path for the new user to point to my old domain path so all files etc are there.

As the old company no longer exists I can't login to outlook any more, however I should be able to see my old emails right? At the moment When I start outlook a popup appears asking for username and password as it's trying to connect to my.user@myoldcompany.com. I tried my old password and not working. I tried my new password and not working. I tried my old username and new etc and nothing is working. Prior to changing the user to local I was able to login to outlook to see the old emails but not send or receive any new ones which was fine

    What can I do here?

Hi notomatoesbro, welcome to the Forum.

Under the Forum rules we are not able to assist with password cracking or anything like that.

Rule 6) No discussions of hacking someones system, network, password, etc.

It is possible your old company computer was licensed with Microsoft under their multi-computer special license arrangements. So it's possible you will not be able to fix this problem.
