After Update Office Wants Reactivation; Product Key Does Not Work

It appears that after yesterdays' updates, Office now suddenly wants reactivation and the product key on the Dell PC label does not work. It tells me this is not a 2013 key. I have been using Office for years with no problem.. what to do ? Using Win7 Home Prem.

    Thanks

[1] The Office Key is not the same as the PC Key!
[2] Have you got a restore point that you can go back to?

    Thanks for your reply.

I have inputted the Product Key from the MS Product Identifier Card I got from Dell when I first bought the PC. 25 digits, ect. Still says not a 2013 Key.

I also did a system restore to Oct 4, Office will now let me in to use it, but says I have until Oct 15 to activate.

Not sure what to do, as I said, I have had no problems with Office. I did the updates on my other PC, running Win7 Prof and all is fine.

    Thanks again.

MGADiag - Check If Your Version Of Windows Is Genuine

Download and run the MGADiag.exe [Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic] Tool [direct download] => MGADiag Tool.

The MGADiag Tool provides detailed information about the Microsoft Genuine Advantage components and settings on your system. MGADiag.exe can be used to analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing.

Simply download the tool, run the MGADiag.exe, and click Continue. It will immediately tell you if your version of Win 7 is Genuine or not.

The M$ tool however, does not automatically create a log file. What you can do though, is click the COPY button and then PASTE it into notepad and SAVE it. You then need to either paste the output into your post [preferable], or upload the saved log file [see below].

    I hope this helps!
