Word 2003 - How to manipulate table that spreads over several pages?

This table comprises about 120 rows, of which only 30 or so can fit on a page.

I want to examine the data on the last page with the 'sort', 'sum above' and other functions, so I need the data to be continuous even it's broken into multiple pages.

Are there any special settings needed for this?


PS: I realize I should probably be using Excel for this, but I don't have the app, or enough time to learn to use it, if I did have a copy.

Hello Teckneeculler,

If you want your tabled data to be continuous, with page breaks removed then yes, the easiest setting is to change the View from Normal Layout to Web Layout.
Problem is, I don't know if that feature is available with Word 2003. It exists on latter versions of Word, and in LibreOffice. So, it might be worth considering upgrading those, to provide you a quick solution.
In Word 2007, you would select View from the Ribbon Menu, and then select Web Layout under the Document Views section.

iko22, thanks. Actually, I found that the sort and sum functions do function if the table runs over several pages, so there's no problem after all
