Is there an add-on for Windows 7 that can help give me some more robust email reminder and email note-taking capabilities?
I need something that will allow me to better organize my inbox.
I use and have used for many years the simple Gmail Online mail system - This has a full set of "email Rules" which allows me to sort incoming mail into various folders depending on their content, origin, sender Etc.
Of course you will find this same functionality in applications like Microsoft Outlook (at a cost), or you could check out something like Thunderbird Email (UK version linked)
this can, with a little work duplicate the functionality of Outlook, including the integration of the user calendar
There may be specific applications out ther but I have always found that and sort and file control system soon turns into a unique application so is best designed from scratch
