    Just installed W7 and then Outlook 2007

    Hello all, apologies if this has been asked before;

    I have just installed windows 7 to my laptop and then installed Outlook 2007.

    I am now trying to add some stationery to outlook:

    File
    Save Attachements
    Microsoft Shared
    Stationery

    When I press saved it tells me I need admin rights to save in this location. I am not technical so do not know what I need to do next, but it is my laptop and I am the only user and my account is set up as admin.

    Is there anything I can do to get this fixed?

    Appreciate any help.

    yes, you are OK to proceed
    you are the administrator

    - it's just W7 being cautious on your behalf..

    Thank you. I tried to continue but this is the message I get;

    "You don't have permission to save in this location.
    Contact the administrator to obtain permission.

    Would you like to save in the (my name) folder instead?"

    If I press yes it saves it in the wrong place, if I press no is cancels everything.

    I'm lost in the world of Microsoft

    Try to Run Outlook as administrator
    Right click on Outlook icon
    Goto Properties
    Click on the Tab which says Compatibiliy and check on te box which says Run this Program as administrator
    Then Click OK
    Open Outlook clicking on the Icon you would recieve a UAC prompt Click Yes to that
    Then try

    Hope that Helps
