    OneNote 2007

I don't know if anyone here uses OneNote. If you do, this question is for your.

AFAI can tell, OneNote 2007 is NOT compatible with Windows 7. The main problem is that you cannot open files embedded in notes unless you give the program Administrator permission; not something I want to do for a program that's supposed to be always on!

Please share any knowledge you might have on this subject.

I am not finding this restriction, have now moved to Office 2010 which does not display this issue but also cannot remember the issue arising from running 2007 on windows 7 from pre beta.

The file should take the permissions present in the original file so only those requiring admin access should require it when embedded

If I don't give the program admin permission, I cannot open any files embedded in a note. Try to copy a file embedded in a note results in a crash.

    Strange,

Only thing I can suggest here is to check the permissions of the folder and files being embedded and the actual onenote files and folders.
