Ancient thread revived!!!!

I just did a clean install of W7 and Office 2013. I do not have the google app nor the hotmail sync installed (AFAIK). Does anyone have any new info?

I've read that search does not work anymore with Outlook and I've read that people use it successfully. It also appears, in index options in the OS and Office, to be an option....
