Can't xfer my emails from vista into windows 7

    Hello

I've windows 7 ultimate in C: drive and is a clean install on top of the vista ultimate.

I used Outlook 2007 SP2 in vista and saved my email messages via import/export method onto a portable flash drive as a .pst folder.

From the flash drive I transferred the emails to C: drive with windows 7 as an os.

Now the difficulty is I can't import these emails still as .pst folder from the
C: drive into the Outlook 2007 SP2 now installed under windows 7.

Any solutions to fix my issue will be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello kachori,

You don't import .pst files in Outlook, you open them. Before installing 7, I simply saved the .pst file to another partition. Then when office was installed, I opened the pst in Outlook and created the mail accounts. All done. All my tasks, email, contacts etc. where all there. If you have a windows.old folder, that pst file should be in there.

    Hope this helps,

    Gary
