I've just purchased Office 97 for £52.95 from Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Software UK at Software4Students.co.uk (you don't have to be a student) and when it's released, I get Office 2010 Pro for free.
Unfortunately if you already own 97, then you're out of luck. Unless you are desparate for it and then it may work out cheaper to buy 97!

OMG!! wonder the license key is availble in MSDN account?
MS Office 2010 has RTM'ed and will be available on MSDN and TechNet tomorrow 22 April.
MSDN, TechNet get Office 2010 this week.
Yeah, I am the admin of our corporate Home Use Program as well as we have Office 2010 now for the PC and Office 2008 for the MAC for $9.95 as well. We have sold numerous copies to employees. Most think there is some sort of catch...but I assure them it is not.
There is no way I can afford office 2010.
When the beta runs out I will be back to google docs
