Yeah I did try the office on line app's which were pretty good but google docs seemto work faster for some reason, there seemed to be a bit of lag using office online.
I found this to be the cheapest available for (UK) students:
Version: Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus
Price: £47.34
Homepage: http://www.software4students.co.uk/M...s-details.aspx
It is now down to £39.95 on software4students. I bought it and for that money it's a bargain - you save nearly £400. How you can justify paying retail is beyond me.
You now don't need an .edu or .ac.uk email either, just the name of a student and school (I used my daughters). You get verified immediately on the site. Plus you get to install it on two computers. Awesome.
I opted for the DVDs - seems more real - and it came on 3 genuine Microsoft discs.
Cheap Microsoft Office 2010 - Microsoft Software Supplier
Office 2010 Pro for $99.99. I've never heard of the website. Has anyone purchased from softwaretommy.com before?
Best way to purchase software is through a registered student and get their deep discount! For me I will use my Office Pro '07 for many more years till Office 2013 is ready!
hm,just download the trial before it will be removed by microsoft :)
~Maybe~
