    Outlook 2007 Frozen

    Hi,

I had Office 2007 Trial and Outlook 2007 Trial running on a new Sony Vaio I bought 2 months ago. The trial versions wouldn't let me upgrade when they expired. I uninstalled all the Office applications and then downloaded Microsoft Small Business and installed it. I ran Outlook 2007 (which seemed to work fine for about an hour) and then it froze. I left it hanging to see whether it would restore. I also tried running it in safe mode. No luck. I can only close it from the task bar and the task bar says it is running fine. I can use other applications like Google Chrome but not Outlook.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

    Thanks

One thing that often seems to help when Outlook 2007 is misbehaving is to make sure it is closed then re-open it from the Start Orb, Search box, in which you type:

    outlook.exe /resetnavpane

Thereafter you should be open and run Outlook normally :)

Excellent. Thank you. I am not having any trouble with Office 2007; but I have files this away for future reference if the need arises.
