i just want a msi/exe file to setup offline. i can activate it online. cant i?
my download speed is too low[poor[64KB/s] i will have to wait 6-10 hrs to download this online.
and we got electricity issue too. each time the pc turns off , the download starts from the beginning!
There is no other way but to download it...for that you must be online..Im sorry about your download speed, but it is what it is... Good luck..
The 64bit version of Office 2010 is 749mb in size and even with a slower connection will see that downloaded in relatively brief period of time. The activation itself only takes a matter of seconds to close out and reopen Office to check the help tab.
You may also want to grab the Oulook connector which is only 2.93mb in size for the 64bit 7 install there. Visio 2010 anyone? Thats another 349mb there and runs as a part of Office 2010. That would also have to be activated with the key provided when downloading.
Both the 32bit and 64bit versions are presently on here to have a look at both which are doing quite well having seen absolutely no problems to mention so far! I will be installing them again soon when the new 7 build is up but only seeing the 64bit Ultimate on with the 64bit Office.
As far as download problems I would have to recheck to if there is an MS download manager for Office. With that if any download is interrupted the download resumes once power/connection or just connection is reestablished. Once downloaded back up it on another drive or removable media since it won't expire until Ocotober in case you should need to reinstall it again for some reason later.
At this time if you simply go to the MS online store you can now pre-order Office 2010 as other wares. Microsoft Office – Buy and download from Microsoft Store
lol. I was trying to figure what the heck happened to my earlier post considering the beta is a free download already.
The betas both 32 and 64bit will still be good until October while it wouldn't be long before the RTMs are out. The sign up page was still seen for beta downloads however.
once the beta runs out, can I just buy a key or have to uninstall and reinstall an offficial copy ( whick would be better anyway )
maybe cheaper to just buy a key
