    Hi everyone I'm new here!

Can someone please help me? I have Office 2003 and now a days I keep getting "Microsoft Word has stopped working" error message!

I've read a number of forums and need a straight forward answer how to resolve this.

I've un-installed and re-installed and it's still shows up. Thanks for your help!

Hello Wickedout !! Welcome to SF !!

I think its an issue with add-ins. Follow this article and disable the add-ins completely http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...341271033.aspx then see whether it has the same problem. Also delete the Normal.dot file maybe its just a corrupt Word Template. Start > %appdata% > Microsoft > Template and delete all the Normal.dot files listed there !!

    Hope this helps,
    Captain

appdata is a hidden folder, you need to unhide it,

I have all files showing. When I do a search for %appdata% it takes me to a folder called roaming. I'm lost.

OK Under that roaming do you have Microsoft folder ?? Under Microsoft you would find another folder called Template under there you have to delete the Normal.dot files !!

    Hope this helps,
