Windows 7: going back to outlook 07

going back to outlook 07

Hi guys

Having problems going back to ms 07 after running the beta. It seems to cause a few problems.

first one is there a way of getting all my emails back. I tried creating a new account doesn't work.

gives an error message the file is created by a new version.

What have you done to return to 07?
You will have to fully uninstall MS Office 2010 and 07 and then reinstall 07.

Backup your pst files first and import them into 07 when finished.

Can you Back Up folders in Outlook?
I have created a couple of folders in Outlook that I use to save important emails in, but I want to know if there is a way to have those folders duplicated somehow with my user folder so that the emails can be backed up.

Going back to Outlook 2007 from 2010
Hi, i tested out outlook 2010 and had been using 2007. so 2010 was using the settings for my email account and .ost file created when using 2007. So i tested 2010 and when the 1 month trial was over i uninstalled office 2010 and went back to 2007 and now everytime i start outlook i get a message...

How/where to back up Outlook contact info via 2nd copy?
I have 2nd copy to back up my media drive but I also wanted to backup my Outlook contact info. How/where do I add the contact folder to be consistently backed up via 2nd copy?
