    Can't see font list

Please forgive. I know there is an Office forum, but this question languished there for a month with no answer, so I hope someone in a slightly different "audience" will understand the issue.

When I retired my XP machine and bought a Windows 7 Pro laptop, I re-installed my Office 2002. Now, in Power Point, my drop-down list of fonts is invisible. (I can see the drop-down, but it's like the font names are white-on-white) I can type in the font name I want, and all is good, but I would like to be able to see and select the fonts. Yes, the fonts are installed.
In Word 2002 I CAN see the list of fonts.
What is going on? What can I do the make the fonts in the list visible?
    Thanks,
    Jon

    Try this for starters...
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts\Font settings, and restore default font settings.

    Hi Jon

Could you confirm that you are running Office 2003 with Service Pack 2?
If you do not have SP2 for Office 2003 installed - download from here and install it.

But the OP says he has Office 2002 not 2003. I wonder if 2002 is fully compatible with Win 7. I think it was brought out specially for Windows XP. May be wrong, of course!

Office 2002 is Windows 7 compatible, both 32 bit and 64 bit. A Guy

Won't that just take away the fonts I installed later? The very fonts I'm trying to see?

It should restore the Font "Settings" irrespective of the actual fonts you have installed
