    "encountered an error during setup"

As soon as the actual installation starts I get a message saying "Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 encountered an error during setup" and I have to close the window. There is no other detail on the failed install given.

I know I've fixes this before (has this the last time I re-installed Windows I think), but I cannot find the resolution anywhere! Some I found this time include deleting the registration key for Office, and deleting some "Rgstrtn.lck" file I couldn't find.

If I can't get this to install I think I'll just go with that Open Office program.

Type %temp% in run and hit enter, your temp folder wil open... Delete all files inside the folder and start the office 2007 installation.....

As we suspect it wil fail. Again type %temp% in run and hit enter, you will find a log file inside the folder.. Copy that file and uplod it here for us...

I actually decided it'd be easier to re-install windows completely (yesterday) and installed Microsoft Office before certain other programs and before backing up some of my previous data. It worked just fine and I am just about finished getting my computer back to normal.

I honestly think either something tiny went wrong in the installation process previously or I brought over an old file from windows.old that messed it up.
