For the life of me, I cannot get rid of those 10 albums in my music library. I went into app data folder and deleted everything associated with WMP, I went into my music folder and deleted all the albumart's and folder.jpg's. Still, those 10 albums in my original post still remain.

Where is the library information stored? I think I have to 'rebuild' the libraries or something.
If you right-click on "Libraries" in Windows Explorer, then select "Restore Default Libraries", does anything change?
    Nothing changes...
Rebuilding the index didn't work. Neither did rebuilding the WMP Library. Resetting libraries to default also had no effect.

Have you tried the "Take Ownership" shortcut mentioned earlier? I ask because you haven't mentioned whether that has worked or not...

One last shot at trying to solve this. Have you disabled any services perhaps? I've seen a great many things go wrong when people disable so-called "unnecessary" services in an attempt to tweak the system, and then later on when something doesn't work right, they do not associate disabled services with the problem, and are therefore unable to solve the issues.

I seriously cannot thing of anything else that may be causing this...

I took ownership of all my music from the root, I am currently taking ownership of my entire user folder at the moment. So we shall see..
