    want to save some pict. on a P. Point Presentation


    I got the cutest e-mail that opens in PowerPoint. I want to save some of the pictures... but, once the p. point opens.. I can't get to the Snipping Tool or any other device to save them. Can this be Done and if So... How ??

    The simplest way - though a little crude is to use the PrtSc key to dump the whole screen to the clipboard. you can then paste into any application of your choice and edit to suit.

    also if snipping tool is running before you open the email you should be able to Alt Tab to it to take your snip

    You can use FastStone Capture instead. It is a much better snipping tool anyhow. Jing is another excellent option. Advantage with it is that you can program it to a function key. And do not worry that you have to sign in for it. That has no consequences whatsoever. But you can also save pictures from PP directly. Just roll down the "save as type" and select .jpg, .png or .tiff.

How to save a restore point?

Hello, I said in another thread, my pc will not boot. It happens quite often, but isnt usually a problem because I just go into safe mode with command prompt and do a restore to an earlier time point. However, this time the selected restore point (for whatever reason) was set to today... I could...
I can change my wallpaper only by right click - 'to choose like wallpaper. There is a 'set as desktop background' option too but it never works. When I try to change theme, only window color and music change, background and screen saver don't. Any idea what it could be?
I set a restore point 2 days ago manually. Today I have found it has been deleted and I may have to reformat because of this. I set my drive to hold 1.15gb in size for restore points. The current restore point is a mere 200mb yet it STILL decided to delete the old ones. Previously I've checked...
I have had this problem for quite a while. I'm able to create restore points (and they show up in the list), but I'm unable to 'restore' them... I get the system cannot restore error. I have Norton-Comcast and have deactivated 'tamper protection' with no luck.:mad:
I have created a restore point, everything works fine. Now I want to know if I can save this permanently in a drive. I don't want it to be cleaned out when I do a disk cleanup. Please help. Thanks!!
