Can not delete playlists from library

    Great!! No More playlists, and the library has quickly kicked into action currently refreshing the library. A joy to watch.

    I was having the exact same problem and it was driving me insane untill i found this thread. I just deleted the Local_mls files and not the database and that allowed me to delete the unwanted playlist and I didnt have to re-add all my music, it was all still there and my other playlists were all still intact. Thanks madtownidiot!

When I moved my audio and video files lots of playlists no longer worked so I tried to delete them. This worked but every time I restarted my computer and opened up Windows Media Player every single one of them returned as if they had never been deleted. Is there a way to delete the play lists...
I've tried searching and all that I can find on the topic is how to disable all the libraries. I installed Zune music player recently to try it out and it created the library "Podcasts" and I can't work out how to delete it. I will never use it and I don't want it there, there must be a way...

WMP 12 library no delete option

i just noticed that. corrupted library? how to get back the delete option? thanks.
I just installed Win 7 pro and have it set like I want it. I have 3 hard drives. Two internal and one external. after install I wiped out second internal and external drives clean. Then I tried to do a back up and it failed and in my pictures library it says I have a folder from my external drive...
