I got mediamonkey, and it is great for editing metadata and album art so that was cool.

But I still cant get my .FLAC music files to be organized in WMP12. As soon as I add them every song goes into one section called unknown
this will fix it ,did for me and will show albumart
    BM-productions
After I install it how do I get my media organized because I installed it and when I drag the music there it just does the same thing it did before

i put my flac files into the music /media folder that wmp monitors and updates itself from, you may need to tag the flac files ie album title and cd number and it should show .use this tagger its good and supports flac tagging. Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v2, MP4, OGG, FLAC, ...)
you can also add albumart using mp3tag.
once you get used to using the mp3 tag its real easy give me a shout if you need a hand with it.

How exactly does it work I downloaded it and it already shows all of the info (except for album artist) on it and is still doing the same thing in wmp. i think i may be doing something wrong.

On a flac file when you try and change albumart with mp3 tag it wont show as changed in the folder for that album!
im presuming that the albums will now show in wmp
the way to show albumart on the flac file in wmp is to open the particular album right click the main album image (probably blank ) and select find album info , this will fetch the album details including albumart, select the album it will show a selection of titles and images , if the info is matching to yours it should just show a finish button at the bottom of the info window and that should do it.

IMO, Winamp is a jewel. with some decent plug-ins (like Enhancer 017), man, you can't go wrong with your listening pleasure!!

    it plays .FLAC too..

in my list of pref, Winamp5 is over WMP12!

I think many would say that WMP 12 is good, better than the other versions before it but its not perfect. I used Shark with it and I don't have many reasons to complain as it does the job, play my music, play my recorded TV, and play videos.

I do not want to install third party players because I believe that some of them may have incompatibility issues, freezing, lagging and they may install components I do not like, create startup items or leave some crap in the Registry or somewhere when removed. And some of them even make themselves your default media player which I do not like.

If your current media player does the job well, plays the media formats you often work with, has a suitable user interface, there is little reason to switch. It depends on taste and personal preference, really so many of us will have different opinions with this topic.
