How to I go about on this video clip seperation problem

I have several hundred video clip files I need to review and seperate into 2 groups. Trash one group, keep the other. I want to accomplish this task as fast as possible since I will have to do this regularly. If someone can tell me a video player that allowes for this kind of lightning fast seperation that would be brilliant

I was thinking about using Video LAN Client for this, but the problem is I don't know how to do to it efficiently. I think the best procedure would involve a hotkey for moving playlist files to a seperate folder (for deletion), so it only takes seconds to sort out videos in combination with the playlist-next hotkey and mouse seeking. But such a mandatory hotkey to be able to do this with hundreds of files does not exist.

Does anybody know any program I can use to accomplish this goal? I tried to do it with Directory Opus (file manager), but i found it to be way too sluggish. Surely there has to be a program to streamline this task ...

It's not the sort of problem that comes up every day. I can't see how you can decide which to keep and which to trash without viewing each clip. You don't give your system specs so we have no idea if this will be the slowest part of the job, it rather depends on how big each file is. Irfanview with the appropiate add ons is fairly quick especially when used in assciation with its thumbnails applet!
