Deleted photos still left in WMP?

    Hi

Concerning deleted photos previously view via Window Media Player.

    Concise/short background:
I've recently bought a new PC (HP Pavilion dv-7 4032), after the setup procedure and the creation of recovery discs etc... I loaded some photos (.jpg) onto the PC (library/pictures).

    Now the problem:
All photos has now been deleted from the PC, there are no traces of them on my C-drive, the recycle bin has also been empty. BUT still there are 'ghost photos' left in the WMP, impossible to delete... I've also tried to view new photos via WMP but without any success?? My photo folder can't be shown via WMP even though it has been aded as the photo source. All .mpg and .mp4 files can be shown and they are also stored in the same photo folder?!
(All ~22000 .jpg files are also stored on an external hard drive as a back-up, incl all mp3's)

    Wot to do?
Any hint would be much appreciated!
    Thank you, Magnus

You should have removed the pics and excluded the folders from the library before deleting them.

Use this tutorial to rebuild your WMP library.
