How to start Slideshow from a middle picture in a folder?

    Hello all,

Recently I just upgrade my computer from Vista to 7 professional. In Vista, you can select any picture in a folder, then click on Slideshow button, and it will start a slideshow from that specific pictures toward the end. In Windows 7, Slideshow will alway start at first picture of the folder, and you can no longer start slideshow from other position.

My question is, is that possible to change setting of Windows 7 so that I can start slideshow from other position rather than the first ??

    Thanks for your time

    ah, nice

However, is there a way to change default setting of the slideshow button?
I am dealing with very large quantity of pictures, so if every single time I want to start a slideshow from random position, I have to open up a file in MS viewer than start slideshow, it will be really inefficient in my case

I kinda looking for something like modify the default behavior of the slideshow button.

    Thanks again for your time

    Aww, that would be disappointed
Thanks again for your reply though <3

I was hoping for some tweak in registry or something to modify directly the windows behavior

If you want to play certain pic's in a slide show, highlite the pic you want to start at, hold the ctr key to select individual pic's or if you want a bunch of consecutive pic's hold the shift key and go to the last pic you want in the slide show, the push slide show and it will run those pic's
