You have to save your music files to the "My Music" folder, not the music library. Once there, they will sow up in your library.

if you open the libraries folder ,then right click on music then select properties, you get the option to add a folder use this to browse to your music folder on other Hdd and bobs your uncle. then open wmp and watch it update.

I wrote the same tutorial here on SF, as far as I know, you shouldn't post links to other forums or something if we already have a solution here.

Woah, friend. Relax, as they were just trying to help out. I'm sure they searched the problem on an external site and came up with that link. Since your tutorial makes no mention of helping to fix an adding files problem, not everyone will see it in a search, nor will they necessarily connect the two.

    I'm totally relaxed, lol
The tutorial I made fixes most problems in WMP12 regarding to media files, that's all :)

In fact, I have been experiencing the same problems, and using the tutorial in my sig fixes it... Not permanently, though, unless one's lucky xD

I just mentioned external links because I remember that Brink edited a couple of my posts in the past to replace the links with links to tutorials here on SF, that's all

I would add to your tutorial that it can be used to fix this particular problem, that would make it much easier to find on SF :)
