Can't copy my CD's!

Hi guys!
So my computer has a little problem... First of all I gotta point out the my PC is old! like 4-5 year's?
anyway... I use Windows 7. And I got this CD which I'd like to save. It's my only copy!
So when I insert the CD into my CD-ROM I go to "My Computer" and then right-click on the CD-ROM icon and click "Open".
I see 2 folders! one named VIDEO_TS and another one named VIDEO_RM.
I double click on VIDEO TS and I got a few files there. So I'd like to watch my video which is burned to the CD. I clicked on the first video file and Windows Media Player open's and play's it!
So now what I figured out I should do is put those 2 folder's to my desktop and then burn them with Nero or somthing like that.
Is that correct?
Or is there another way to do thing's like that?

By the way... If this help's: I have 2 CD-ROM's (2 places which I can put CD's into)
maybe I should put the CD into the first one and the clean CD into the second one and then copy them?

I'll leave that to you

thank's ahead

Are you sure it is a cd? VIDEO_TS sounds like the folder names I see on DVD-video disks. (Maybe it is a Cd video format that I am not familiar with)

Anyway, best way to copy video disks is to open Nero and look for Copy Disc, and use that function.

If it is a copy protected disc this will not work.

Yes you are right. Just copy the files to your desktop and use Nero to burn it onto a disc.

Alright then. gonna try this out.
Is there any freeware software to do that?
Nero is quite heavy as I said it's an old PC. Also it's really cheap... One of the reason's I tried to do it with the Windows built-in tools
Also... Yes I think it's a DVD and not a CD.

thanks guys So back to my question... Are they any freeware programs that can copy disk's?
