oh i think i've encounter another problem. I wanna load a subtitle in an avi video but MPCHC say i have to change my renderer settings which affects my rmvb files. So, I changed my DirectShow settings to EVR sync, but somehow playing avi files are quite laggy sometimes. Help please?

The subs should work with any renderer. Instead of trying to load a subtitle file into MPCHC, rename it to the same name as the video file you're trying to play. Also make sure that both the subs file and the movie file are in the same folder. Play the video and the subtitles should load automatically and not affect your playback.

Should you choose to change the position, size, color and/or font of the subs, open MPCHC and go to View -> Options -> Subtitles -> Default Size

VLC does that as well you mean pixelates a little bit before the picture regroups itself, I'm afraid sometimes is normal for rmvb and wmv as well depending on who did the ripping and the quality of it. Vlc by the way is the best player out there though imho, and could never go wrong with it...

Once again I repeat myself, there is no such thing as the best anything.
But you're right about the ripping quality, which is why I immediately asked if the op knew how exactly those files were encoded.

Your right Gornot it all depends on personal preference what is the best "that works for the personal individual".

Hmm i renamed the subtitled file and it worked! But I have a question. Is there really no way to load a subtitle, watch rmvb and avi files WITH the same DirectShow Settings? Now i've changed my settings to Evr Customs but rmvb videos are laggy but the other two are fine.

Have you tried changing the subtitle style under View -> Options -> Subtitles -> Default Size? That should do the trick.
As for the same settings, have you tried the regular EVR? That should've worked.

There's no default size, do you mean default style? Oh, i tried playing rmvb using EVR, EVR custom and EVR sync, but only EVR works well but with that setting i won't be able to load subtitles. I know if i rename the subtitle file i will be able to watch, but what if i don't instead i want to load the subtitle file into the video. Just curious because I hope i can play both type of video with the same settings.

You can't load "load" a subtitle into MPC-HC, regardless of the renderer you choose. The only way you can display them is to either rename the sub file to match the video filename, or have the subtitle muxed into the video file itself (this works only for H264 videos though) and then toggle subs on or off via right click while the clip is playing.
