If WMM allows burning i wonder why they even bothered with WDVDM ? Can i assume my best bet would be to D/L WMM and use that instead of WDVDM, and if so will i no longer have the same widescreen issue as I did with WDVDM?

well yeah, thats what i meant. In any case, would i have the same widescreen issue if i use that to burn DVD's instead of WDVDM?
I see, thanks. I'll do some more googling and see if i can find any more possible fixes.
What gave you that idea? LOL...
I'm just following instructions found on the web. Running it through Windows Live Movie Maker turned the 798 MB avi into 5.8GB wmv, and another time saving a project file did not good whatsoever.
All I know is any widescreen avi I open in Windows DVD Maker comes out as 4.3 all scrunched up.
Google "no widescreen with Windows DVD Maker" you'll understand.
When and if you do please post here.
I've throughly researched the problem and although some say if you encode it with Windows Movie Maker (2.6) and/or Windows Live Movie Maker and open that file with Windows DVD maker it will work. I've also seen just opening the project file from Movie Maker will work but from where I sit WDVDM will not open Movie Maker project files.
Well, i can't find a fix so i guess i'll be going back to using DVD flick and decrypter.
