WMP doesn't add music files

    WMP doesn't add music files


    recently, when I put music files (standard .mp3) in my music folder, WMP will not add them to its library. I can open and play them in WMP but it will not add to its library.

    any ideas?

    Sounds like a corrupted database to me but wait for a more knowledgeable member on this subject!

i'm transferring my music from my old laptop to the new one, and on the new one I cant find some of the songs in the music folder yet they are appearing in windows media player. how/why is it doing that? and is there a way to add the files back to the music folder?
