Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1

I feel sure this is a lead (cable) problem. Try swopping for a different one. Did you try my HDMI idea?

Youtube full screen lag - Easy fix

This is the solution for removing the lag when you click the full screen button in YouTube.
The problem is from your graphic adapter settings.
For example I have Nvidia. I started NVIDIA Control Pannel, went to Adjust desktop color settings and the last option on this page bottom is Content type reported to the display. In this box you should have 3 options:
1. Auto-select (recommended)
2. Desktop programs
3. Full-screen videos

Choose the 3rd option Full-screen videos, click Apply and you will remove the lag in You Tube when you turn in full screen.
There must be a similar setting for ATI Radeon graphic cards if you have ATI.

Music/video played as background won't keep playing
Running Win 7 64 bit on a home built machine. When I play AV from the Internet, e.g. radio or a HULU TV show, or play a DVD video, the player runs about 5-10 minutes and then stalls. I have to wiggle my mouse to restart. I though it was connected to my screen saver, so I reset it to none. Then...
