Video lag when played in fullscreen and moving mouse around the screen

Hi Guys.... I need some help here. I'm currently having problem playing videos from youtube and other forms of video.

For example when i play a clip from youtube and enlarge it to fullscreen, It'll lag throughout. When i start moving my mouse around the clip, It lags badly. I've updated flashplayer / java and done all scannings but nothing helps.... Anyone know what's the issue?

    Currently running on

    AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 635 Processor 2.9Ghz
    Ram: 4.00Gb
    System type: 64-bit Operating system

Graphic card would be ATI Radeon HD Series 5700.

    Help appreciated.

    Thanks.

What's your internet speed. Try this:
Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
    and post results here.

Download speed is not too bad but you might have problems with full screen HD clips. Do the videos play OK in the smaller screen version?
    You should be able to choose 380px on most You Tube clips. If they play OK at the smaller size then it is usually download speed. If none play OK the you might consider installing the Shark codecs from here;

Sorry spelled your name wrongly Mitchell.

The problem which I'm currently having now is whatever video i play in fullscreen be it youtube or downloaded files, it lags. Even when i chose a lower 380px.... It's just different from how it used to be like....Videos which I'm trying to load is not in HD mode.... Any idea what's going wrong?

The codec doesn't help.... even low quality clips which i have when played in fullscreen, it lags alot....

Well from what you have said I'm going to stick my neck out and say it is a download speed problem. Have you tried this at different times of the day just to see if things improve at more"quiet" times. Try a speed test and immediately run a Video Clip. Then perhaps in the very early morning try that again and see if there is an appreciable difference in the speed test!

Ummm.... It's not just for internet clips.... even for dl-ed clips and other cd shows.... it happens as well.

I was going through the forum and came across this win 7 poor video playback in fullscreen on all players

Not sure what seems to be the problem....

Trouble with the link to the previous post the OP didn't come back so we don't know if he solved the problem. I'm clutching at straws a bit now but have you tried changing the resolution of your monitor?
