Paint Shop Pro 8 and windows 7 64 bit?

I have read that there are problems running PS 8 with 7 64 bit. Can some one verify this? My old XP laptop died and had to replace it.

PSP8 is ancient! You could try installing it in compatibility mode with XP.

    I am ancient, too.
I use PSP v8 on a Windows 7 64-bit system with no compatibility settings and have had no problems.

    PSP8 corrupts Adobe Flash

I can get Paint Shop Pro 8 to run alright on Windows7. However, it corrupts the registry entry for Adobe Flash. So IE is partially disabled. Attempts to re-install Flash yield an "unable to register" message. I tried the remedy posted on Adobe sites - no luck. The only cure was to re-image the system. I can duplicate this issue and have seen it in both 32 and 64 bit versions

8? Pikers. I have PSP 5.03 and didn't even have problems with Windows 8 consumer preview last year It's currently running flawlessly on Win 7 Pro 32-bit and Win 7 Home 64-bit.
