Looks like you might be winning now. I hope so! What threw me a bit was you headed up the thread with MKA files. Then said you had a player working with MKA videos but as far as I was aware MKA are audio only files not video. I got a bit confused at that point!

I apologize for the confusion, I hadn't noticed that til now. Sometimes I intend to type mkv and it just comes out mka.

Have been looking at your other posts and see that whilst this thread has been running you were experimenting with the two different versions of Windows Media Player. I honestly think that you would be better served if you solved one problem before embarking on the next problem that involves the same programs! Just my thoughts you understand.

RMVB videos are choppy when played using MPCHC
Recently i've download some RMVB files but when i'm using MPCHC to play them, some part or almost the whole video is very choppy. I've installed Sharks windows 7 codec. Does that help? Currently using Windows 7 x32-bit
