listing information

I would like to get a list of information about the photos in various files. I'd like to get information like:
Name of the photo: DSCN14421
Location of photo: F:\2011_birthdayparty
size of photo:
Date picture was taken:
Date picture was modified:
Subject:
Category:
Event:

Some software allows you to add information (like subject, category, event) but I haven't found one that will list the information and allow you to print it or copy/paste to EXCEL.

Can anyone help.

Try the excellent Zoner Photo Studio (free). From the menus --> information --> import/export -->generate lists (see screenshot). Any info (ISO, flash, F-stop etc) can be saved as .txt, html, etc etc.

It's a great program for organising phots, too.

I tried Zoner and from the menus--> Information but the choices did not include "import/export." I'm still trying to find software to print out details about photo files (like location, name, size, kewords, etc. etc.).

Really sorry - my bad.... I have been using Zoner free version for the past few months and a teacher friend of mine gave me a spare educational licence thus upgrading the free version to pro version - that has the export data function.

It's a short term fix (30 day trial) but you could try the pro version to export all the info you wanted?
