    DVD autoplay problems

This problem just started a couple days ago so maybe someone can help. When I insert a DVD movie I get the autoplay menu and I select Windows Media Player and I get a pop that says....ok wait a second LOL...was testing it to get the exact message and it worked fine this time!!

I installed the latest Shark007 codec package and that is when I noticed it began and I uninstalled it a few minutes ago and tested it right away and got same result...maybe something hadn't finished resetting. It was saying that the DVD was inaccesible or something to that tune and gave same message if I tried opening it from the Computer section where all the drives are. The only way to get it to play was open Media Player and open from within it. Seems it was the latest codec package and of course there was another one released yesterday so maybe that adresses the issue....anyone else have this problem with the Shark007 codec package? Version 2.8.0 32 bit?

EDIT: Nevermind it still does it and the message it gives is "F:\ Application not found". I am going to reboot after my downloads complete and see if that will reset something.

Think I solved it by removing Windows Media Player from the "turn windows features on and off" section of the control panel and turning it back on. Maybe the codec package messed it up a tiny bit but codecs are installed and all is opening normal once again so far.
