    Windows Media Player exit delay

    Hello,

I am sure this isn't too serious, but it's irritating Whenever I want to exit/close windows media player, there's a short delay, then the window disappears after about 1.5 - 2 seconds. It used to close instantly! I've made and uploaded a GIF animation of what happens here: http://i1208.photobucket.com/albums/...ja/problem.gif (When do I click?: just before my mouse moves to the right near the end of the anim) How can I fix this?

    Thanks:)

Yeah, windows media player is a VERY slow program. Slow on my laptop, slow on my current build. That lag is just it getting itself 'in gear' to close itself. As far as I know, there is no way to fix it, but don't worry, it's not just your computer
If you use windows media player to play videos, I recommend you use VLC media player instead. It's a lot faster and can handle pretty much any format you throw at it.

BTW, well done with the gif, neat idea to portray the problem. Pity more people aren't that resourceful on here! :)
