    Video Player Lockup

OK so when I attempt to use any video player on an existing AVI file my system locks up and has to be rebooted. I have tried WMP, VLC (my preference) and KPS. They all react the same way, leads me to believe it is hardware and not a software issue,

Is 1 gig of ram enough for this system to operate properly and can this be the culprit?

    Thanks

Yes you should have at least 2 gigs for 32bit and at least 4 - 6 Gigs for 64bit

    Dear All,

Try this one. It probably should work.
