    YouTube Freezing

I am having issue of late with some Youtube videos just freezing up. Some will do this within a few seconds of playing and some will only stop around half way as in this one.

    YouTube - ‪amazing Funny stuff‬‏

Here is a screen shot of where it freezes for me. Now if I am able to change the setting from say 240p to 270p it would then start playing again and visa versa.

    It happens on the following
    Win7 Pro 32 bit

    FF 4.0.1
    IE 9
    Chrome 11

    Adobe Flash Player 10.3.181.14

It played just fine with me on IE9.
I'm thinking this might actually be your internet, because IE9 uses the Flash ActiveX, FF uses the plugin, and Chrome has it built in; how much chance is there that all three browsers give you the same experience.

I've seen YouTube glitch too many times in my life, when a video SEEMS to be fully buffered but it's not, which definitely results in what you described as (more or less) random stops during playback.
Have you checked to see if your net speed has decreased while you were experiencing this problem?

All browsers give exactly the same result. Even if I download the video as in this case it will do the same thing. I have Internet Download Manager installed Internet Download Manager: the fastest download accelerator Now I have had this Download manager installed and running since Vista days and it never had any issues like this before. In fact this story with YouTube ony seemed to start some time back and used always work on my install of Win 7

Just tried it on my work XP Box and it plays no problems so I am starting to think this is a Win7 issue

Until you said it worked on XP, I thought it may be a problem with the video itself. Hmmm, maybe the problem could also be with the YouTube player itself, which, I guess, could explain that the videos is bugged after downloading, too...
Since you have FF4, install Greasemonkey and then this great script to replace the YouTube player, then see if the videos play any better.

Sorry if this isn't exactly what you expected from someone offering help xD

Yes but remember it also does the same in FF, IE, Opera, and Chrome.

Ok installed all that now it stops at 1:18min. Here is another that will just play up to 48 sec
