    My Pictures

I am having trouble copying more that one picture in My Pictures. Earlier, I was able to do so by holding down Shift and clicking on the image. Today, when I use Shift and click on the next image, the first image is no longer highlighed and sometime other images I don't want to copy are highlighted. It is driving me crazy.

That should work. Have you tried pressing the Ctrl key and then click on each file?

Hello 1474usmc, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could press and hold Ctrl, then click on each image to select more than one random image. When done, release Ctrl, and right click on one of the selected files to copy them.

In addition, you could also use check boxes as in the tutorial below.

    Select Items with Check Boxes

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

To copy more than one picture ......

    1. Select any picture at random :
Press Ctrl key and hold > click on each picture you want to copy.

2.Select ALL the pictures in the folder :
Press Ctrl key and hold > press A key > all the pictures in the folder are chosen.

3.Select group of pictures that are next to one another :
example : you want picture # 6 to picture #16 copied....
click #6 > press Shift key and HOLD > click #16 > all pictures from #6 to #16 are selected.

    Windows 7 & My Pictures

Using Windows 7, the solution to copy more than one image worked with Wicdows XP but does not work with "7". The answer for a number of images which are consective does work.

    Thanks

    1474usmc,

Did you try both options in my post above to select more random files?
